{"id":1148,"date":"2022-09-10T04:00:30","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T02:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/actforyourplanet.com\/?p=1148"},"modified":"2026-05-22T22:50:10","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T20:50:10","slug":"peoples-climate-vote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/actforyourplanet.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/10\/peoples-climate-vote\/","title":{"rendered":"Peoples\u2019 climate vote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>The World\u2019s Most Popular<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b>Climate Policies<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>After being asked about their belief in a climate emergency, and regardless of their views on that issue, all respondents in the Peoples\u2019 Climate Vote were asked which of 18 climate policies they would like their country to pursue to address climate change.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The policies proposed represent some of the most significant and recommended solutions to tackle climate change. Three options were offered to respondents for each of six policy areas: <b>energy, economy, transportation, farms and food, protecting people, and nature<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Four climate policies emerged as the most popular <\/b>of the 18 proposed to respondents in the Peoples\u2019 Climate Vote (see Figure 9).
